Russian Helicopter Shot Down With British Air defense system

For the first time, the mobile air defence system provided by the United Kingdom for Ukraine was deployed to take down the Russian chopper.

It is thought that star Starstreak  pads was used in the downing of the Russian MI-28 and attack helicopter which was spread on social media.

Ukrainian forces shot down a Russian helicopter in the Luhangs region of eastern Ukraine. According to the source the system was shipped to Ukraine about a week ago.

The Starstreak Man Pad System

Ukraine received the Starstreak man pad system. Apart from the Nlaw anti-tank weapons. The system is simple to launch from the shoulder and it has a capability of almost 7 km.

Infact in Starstreak training a soldier must perform at least one thousand successful shots in the stimulator in order to achieve the status of usable the weapon. Taking this need into account the British ministry of defense secretly shipped the best Starstreak operators and stimulators in the country to a neighboring country of Ukraine.

Ukrainian Soldiers

British soldiers trained the Ukrainian soldiers here. The training was expected to take three weeks but it is thought to be completed in about two weeks.
